Greetings, Motorola!

First, let me briefly introduce myself: I'm a normal college student in South Korea who's using a MOTOROI(XT720).

Yes, your product is fabulous in many ways, starting from design to spec. However, most South Korean customers

did not "get the memo" that installing applications to external storage devices is not possible. This leaves us 128MB
to install apps. Even though this information was revealed, we (customers) did not protest or ask for refunds... we just waited. Why? Because we believed Motorola, a company which achieved magnificent progress in developing alien-like communication technologies in the past, would be able to solve such critical issues ONCE Google released Froyo(2.2).

As you already know, during the Google I/O Conference, Froyo was revealed to the public and it confirmed that external app installation will be supported. We thought this was good news until Motorola Korea crushed our very last hope in cold-blood by announcing that they are currently under CONSIDERATION in providing future updates for MOTOROI. We all know what this means and we're pissed by the fact that Wolochatiuk actually had the nerves to say such absurd statements. On top of that, Motorola Korea also announced the introduction of Milestone to the Korean peninsula! I can almost hear Rick shouting "ABANDON SHIP!" while riding a boat that's written "MOTOROI".

But that wasn't enough for Wolochatiuk. He just NEEDED to fu*k up Motorola's image more by deleting "Flash(Adobe) Supported" and simply stating that "it was the advertising team's fault" after the information was posted for more than 3 months. Wow. I mean, WOW. (http://news.naver.com/main/read.nhn?mode=LSD&mid=sec&sid1=105&oid=030&aid=0002073796).

I don't know how Mr. Wolochatiuk reported the situation in South Korea to Motorola's headquarters, but let me tell you the REAL facts:

1. Currently there is a petition being held in South Korea, which will make Motorola Korea announce a recall. It's been held for 2 days and so far there are already 1,471 (see for yourself: http://agora.media.daum.net/petition/view?id=93227) signatures.

2. We've gathered 20 out of the required 50 people in order to submit a lawsuit for MOTOROI's recall (Can be activated by a Korean law called 집단분쟁조정제도: http://www.kca.go.kr/jsp/pre/pre_03_07_tab01.jsp)

3. Internet Community Sites related to Android phones are spreading the dirty facts of Motorola Korea, a total estimated MINIMUM number of 824,481 members (http://cafe.naver.com/bjphone, http://www.androidpub.com/home, http://cafe.naver.com/androiders, http://cafe.naver.com/krzr, http://cafe.naver.com/droiduser, http://cafe.naver.com/flueworld, and more).

To sum up, Motorola Korea is becoming a total failure and Mr. Rick does not understand the ramifications of what he's done here. If you really want to stay alive in the Korean market, I believe that you should fire the guy who caused all this fuss and destroyed the long-built image of Motorola into pieces.

Let me make myself (and the Korean consumers) clear: IF YOU CAN'T FIX MOTOROI, WE WON'T EXPECT ANYTHING MORE FROM MOTOROLA, AND YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS. WE DON'T GIVE A DA*M ABOUT MILESTONE OR ANY OTHER FUTURE PRODUCTS BECAUSE THEY'LL ALL END UP LIKE MOTOROI. BESIDES, WE ALWAYS HAVE THE OPTION OF BUYING SAMSUNG PRODUCTS WHICH ARE FAR MORE BETTER THAN YOURS RICK. BELIEVE US WHEN WE WARN YOU THAT WE WILL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO DECREASE THE SALES RATE OF MILESTONE ONCE IT IS RELEASED.

It's very sad to see a company like Motorola using a total scr*w up like Wolochatiuk as the representative of Motorola Korea. Hope you make a better decision Mr. Brown.

Sincerely yours, XXX.
