As promised I said I would release ICS AOSP with some mods. After all those hateful comments I thought to myself that maybe I wouldn't release a build at all. However, some of you are so faithful and kept me going that I brought ICS to you in two flavors. Granted there are a few things that don't work but for the most part everything works great. Galleries Coming Soon. Here are the details:

FULL ICS ON SCREEN BUTTONS ALPHA BUILD 1:

Description: This alpha build contains the on screen working buttons that you see on galaxy nexus. These buttons are fluid throughout applications and are very nice to have in ICS. The current DPI is set to 210 so it does not bug you as much size wise. This build is truly more stable and if you are looking for something stable with all the ICS features go with this.

FULL ICS WITHOUT ON SCREEN BUTTONS ALPHA 1:

Description: This build contains the same build make up as the onscreen build, however there is no on screen buttons in this build. It is a fully functional build and contains nearly all the same as files the on screen build except /system/app and framework files. However, tethering will not work in this build and I consider this build more experimental.

Install Instructions:

Boot into Clockwork Recovery

-wipe data/factory reset

-wipe cache

-wipe dalvik

-install from zip

-reboot and enjoy!!

Notes:

Do not turn on 2D acceleration on in settings -> developer.

In spare parts turn off compatibility mode and restart for downloaded apps to work better in ics.

Need a root explorer like tool? I suggest using jrummy’s root browser.

The On Screen Button Version doesn’t lag as much and provides that ICS smooth scroll you wish to see.
