어제 잠들기전에 업데이트하고 오늘 뭐가 바꼈는지 궁금해서 한번 찾아봤습니다..

버라이즌(http://support.vzw.com/pdf/system_update/moto_droid.pdf)에 따르면

 

추가된 기능은

(1). 핀치투줌-멀티터치가 브라우져, 갤러리, 구글맵과 같은 구글 어플리케이션에 적용되었으며,

(2). 새로운 날씨 및 뉴스어플리케이션과 위젯이 추가되었습니다. - (날씨 위젯이 이쁘네요.)

(3). 새로운 보이스 텍스트 입력방법 추가 (메세지나 메일 등을 작성할때 버추얼 키보드에 있는 마이크 버튼을 누르고 말하면 텍스트가 자동으로 입력)

(4). 3D 레이아웃을 이용한 새로운 갤러리 추가(피카사 웹앨범과 연동가능)  - (제일 마음에 드는 부분입니다.)

(5).라이브 월페이퍼를 이용한 역동적인 바탕화면 제공

 

또한 향상된 기능은

(1) 야후 이메일 지원 및 연동가능 - (야후메일을 안써서 무엇이 바꼈는지 잘 모르겠네요..)

(2) 구글맵 업데이트- 데스크탑의 구글맵(maps.google.com)에서 검색한 히스토리의 오토 싱크,

(3) 구글맵 네비게이션의 나이트(Night) 모드 추가,

(4)패턴잠금기능 개선 (뭐가 바뀌었는지는 잘 모르겠네요)

(5). 유선 헤드셋 개선

 

재미있는 사실은 "드로이드"는 루카스 필름의 트레이드 마크이며 그들의 라이센스를 사용하는 것이라고 되어 있네요... 루카스 필름과 관련이 있는 줄은 처음 알았네요..

Improvements

  • Free Yahoo!® Mail is now supported—simply sign in with your Yahoo! email address and password.
  • Google Maps update
    • Personalized suggestions and synchronized starring with
      desktop maps.google.com.

      • Starred items are stored and synced automatically between Google
        Maps on your device and maps.google.com on your computer, making it easy to search for places you’ve searched for before.
    • New night mode in Google Maps Navigation automatically changes the screen at night for easier viewing.
  • Improved pattern-lock functionality.
  • Improved handset audio when disconnecting a wired headset.
  • Email accounts no longer need to be re-entered after an over-the-air update.
