• AEMS is the largest team, specializing in developing engineering solutions directly for Android, Window Mobile, Symbian and iPhone based platform products and mobile applications. AEMS has been involved in creating Symbian, Android and iPhone OS based products since the very first Symbian OS phone, creating a group with unique depth and experience.
• Candidates should expect to be involved in a hands-on approach, dealing with a wide range of mobile technologies and gaining an understanding of what it really takes to make a phone and applications. We work closely with our clients' engineers from the inception of the phone project through to product launch, influencing product definition, architecture, feature implementations and solving complex technical problems along the way. Our unique expertise is used in all aspects of the engineering effort required to create world class, competitive phones.
• Our clients' engineering teams are based in countries around the world so there are plenty of opportunities for travel.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

This is a varied role involving many of the following tasks:
• Implementation of new features - all phases of the software development process from requirements analysis to maintenance.
• Assisting in product specification, customization, software design, implementation, integration, troubleshooting and optimization.
• Participation in and development of technical workshops
• Providing consultancy to customer engineers - from analyzing new requirements to helping solve complex technical problems.
• Internal communication with AEMS' engineering teams on behalf of the customer.
• Bringing together 3rd party suppliers of technologies or hardware components to enhance our clients' needs
• Assess/install/maintain third-party tools.
• Make proactive suggestions for service improvements.
• Demonstrate commitment to Service Excellence.
• Coach less experienced staff in the supported products and best practice for production support.
• On/off shore on time communication
• Technical check point review(source code) and verification(testing)
